Dr. Adnan Pavel completed his PhD in Government and Politics from the University of Essex, UK. Before that he completed his MSc from University of East London and an BSc from London Metropolitan University.  He also completed his second masters on Project Management from London.

As of now, Dr. Pavel has more than 6 years’ experience of teaching Politics, International Relations and related subjects to university students in the UK. His teaching focuses on Politics, Political Philosophy, Conflict & Cooperation, Ethics & Public Policy, Political Economy and Sociology. Dr. Pavel is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). He is member of International Institute of Strategic Studies (UK), Chartered Management Institute, American Political Science Association, Political Studies Association and many others.

Beside Dr. Pavel’s involvement with several think-tanks that work for climate change, national security, social mobility and good governance, he is also a well known broadcaster in the UK. He hosts a popular program for NTV Europe and also advises NTV Europe on compliance and communication.

Adnan has joined numerous trainings and conferences in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia. He also write articles for newspapers and blogs for his own personal website for different social, political and international relations issues. He regularly writes for leading newspapers in Bangladesh including Prothom Alo, The Business Standard and Dhaka Tribune.

Dr. Pavel is also former Deputy President of London Metropolitan University Students’ Union. He was also Vice-Chair of Students’ Union trustee board and Chair of union Editorial board. He was also former Student Governor of London Metropolitan University.

He was an elected officer and he used to represent almost 18,000 students from different age groups, ethnicity, nationality and language. He worked intensively to ensure representation and participation of underrepresented groups, i.e. Black, Asian & Ethnic minority, and Women.
